Wolfe Hockey is a family-owned hockey school operating since 2009 in the DMV area. Led by Jason Wolfe, ex-professional hockey player, and his wife Heather Wolfe, Wolfe Hockey is unique in that it cultivates a culture of respect, accountability, and a good time.
Jason grew up locally in College Park, MD, playing at Wells Ice Rink. After finishing his HS career at DeMatha, he played junior hockey for a few years before committing to Merrimack College (NCAA D1). After four years of college hockey (where he met Heather), Jason went on to play professionally for nine seasons.
As Jason’s professional career came to a close, he and Heather decided to take a leap of faith and build a hockey school from the ground up. His wealth of playing experience, ability to make personal connections and extensive coaching knowledge coupled with their mission to elevate the region’s hockey culture and community with well-rounded, confident athletes led to the creation of Wolfe Hockey. It didn’t exist for him growing up, which furthered his passion for solving this for others.
Needless to say – if it weren’t for Heather, Jason would still be teaching hockey lessons whenever he could get his hands on any unsold ice time. Born and raised in the midwest and with a background in Volleyball, Sports Med & Nutrition, Heather has grown Wolfe Hockey to where it is today while maintaining its trustworthy and family-oriented community.
Fast forward twelve years, Wolfe Hockey is still a reputable hockey school that provides lessons, camps, clinics, and consulting services to individuals of all levels and ages (as young as 7!). Wolfe Hockey has worked with 5,000+ clients, trained 50+ coaches, and enabled 160+ players to move on to the NCAA, or higher-level hockey. This is a testament to Wolfe Hockey’s perseverance and authenticity. As a result, Wolfe Hockey is considered the top training and development company in the mid-Atlantic area.
